A song from long ago

At least it feels like long ago. This is a “personal” post. It’s probably of little interest to anyone besides me, so I’ll make it quick.
When I was a kid I used to really like a song. All I could remember from the song was the line “crumbling stone by stone, Beirut”. I didn’t know who sang it, when it was recorded or what the actually title of the song was. So after spending many years searching online I finally found the song (thanks in part to Google and in part to the increasing amount of music online).

I had the same delima about finding this song (BEIRUT)..finaly i found it in this page, I couldn’t believe it…and here i am listening to it for the first time in 20 years…thank you so much for bringing back the memories…
